We are an investment-led business founded in 2022 with 90% staff ownership, including 19% allocated to key employees through an employee share trust. We are a registered institution with the Namibia Financial Institutions Supervisory Authority (NAMFISA), the statutory body responsible for regulating and overseeing Namibia’s non-banking financial sector, ensuring that our operations meet the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and compliance.
Our name, Pyxis (pronounced “piksis”), is inspired by the Latin name of a constellation situated south of the celestial equator. In English, the constellation is known as “The Mariner’s Compass.” Our name reflects our mission: to guide our clients through the complexities of financial markets with clarity, confidence, and strategic direction.
